i need to convert my audible (.aa) files to mp3
I have an audible account and my ipod/itrip doesnt work well in my area. I can play mp3 in my car stereo. There has to be some way to make this conversion.
Does any one know an app?

Re: i need to convert my audible (.aa) files to mp3
Can you play regular CDs? I have a Car Talk subscription, and I just burn the CDs in iTunes. If it's a book or something, iTunes will break it into burnable chunks. I think you could change your burning preference in iTunes to mp3 if you want to cram more than an hour's worth on a CD. Audible's file format is a bit weird.
I've never been successful burning mp3 disks, but I suppose I should learn, because my new car's stereo can play them. The owner's manual even has instructions on how to do it. And the (cooled) glovebox has an iPod adpter built in - which means, of course, that now I must buy an ipod. But I digress.
