G5 iMac shuting down

Been along time since I've post here, anyways, my iMac keeps shuting down.

2nd gen G5 iMac
2Ghz
20in
1gb ram

I believe that the processor is over heating.  It shut downs when I'm using processor intensive items, mainly when I'm playing WOW.  I usualy have vent on, and sometimes iTunes playing.  It likes to shutdown in the middle of MC raids or when i'm PVPing >< not too fun.

Any ideas on what I can do?  I think i've had it for a bit under a year so I should still have the 1-year apple care on it.

Call Apple.  It's a serious problem that can damage every part of the computer.  I would call them immediately.

Re: G5 iMac shuting down

Both my mother and my sister have had that generation of iMac burn up. It has something to do with the power source and/or motherboard. Take it in to an apple store and they should fix it for you.

I haven't had  single problem with my iMac (first generation). However, the room temperature where I keep the iMac is set to under 70 degrees.
