FCP 5.0 timeline problem

Im working with FCP and lets say i have 4 video i syhncronized them together on 1 Audio when i want to make a scene slow motion or rapid motion the hall sync is gone cause the slowmotion scene pushes all the other videos
i know some told me that i have to  take the scene to the end of time line or something like that, that is not practical in any way.
can anyone help me with that plz is there something in the properties that can be done  sad

That is because by applying a slow motion or fast motion effect to your clip changes the length of it.  Try putting the clip you want to slow down on another video track and leave the non-effect tracks on another video track, then when you apply the motion effect , it will not disrupt the other clips on the other video track.

Or, when you put down a clip you know is going to get a motion effect, do your effect before you put any clips beyond it.

Change the speed of the clip in the Viewer...BEFORE you drop it into the timeline.  Then it will go where you want it to.  If you need to, match frame to it, adjust the speed, then drop it in.

another timeline problem
but i dont know how to explain this
when u move a clip in the timeline and when it reaches to another clip it automatically fits
its like u choose in the timeline a place with ur line and when ur moving a clip its stiops there when ur passing
or again if u choose with ur line a place and choose the razor and pass it trough the line it stops the place of the line
my timeline was working like that but i dont know what i changed and its not working like that anymore i dont know if i expalined it good but hope u can help me

Sounds like you have snapping on.  Turn it off by hitting the "n" key.  (well at least that is what it is in FCP 4.5)
