Mission Impossible 3

Just saw it.  It was good.  Of the three summer blockbusters I've seen thus far (Da Vinci Code, X-Men 3, and Mission Impossible 3), this was by far the best.  It's surprising because I'm not really a secret agent movie type guy and I wasn't even planning on seeing it (whereas I saw both da vinci and x3 the days they came out), however I enjoyed it immensely.  I'll probably go rent the first 2 now, can't really remember them at all.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

MI3 is an exciting movie, but people who suffer from motion sickness shouldn't eat anything before the movie, 90% of the movie involves some sort of extreme motion, after the movie I became violently ill and threw up in a trashcan, sometimes it sucks to be me blush

Too bad it has Tom Cruise in it.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

I thought x3 was better. I mean, they didn't show the heist or anything to get the mysterious object of doom. They just turned it into a show of 24 with torture and all. The movie forgot what it was.

Da Vinci Code sucked. The book was so much better.

Ya, I enjoyed MI3. I'd recommend it over the other summer action movies shrug

Re: Mission Impossible 3

It was alright.   Lamer then the other two MIs, and not as good as X3.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

It's not like either of those films will win an oscar, but I definitely thought x3 was the cheesier of the two.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

I liked MI:3!!!! The first one was incredible, but just a bit too much plot. The second one just sucked. The third one was just right.

MI:3 was good until the ending.  I thought it was pretty lame.

Re: Mission Impossible 3

I didn't really have problem with Cruise trying to instinctually kick ass.
Now his girlfriend... that's a different story shrug

As interesting (or not) as those movies may have been, there's one thing I bet they didn't have.

He's done some really good movies.

Rain Man for example - I think I'll watch that tomorrow.

And he was a damned good running back.

His commercials were great - though I was young when most of them aired.
I remember one where I think he was running through a crowsed airport as if it were a football game - the impression being that he was late for a flight - but at the end, he ends up buying Orange Juice, not getting on a plane.
