Quark Extensions

What Quark Extensions do you guys use on a daily basis, and would recommend for a design professional?

I have to admit, I've never used any Quark Extensions, but I've seen some reviews that suggest some of them might be worth looking at.

Thanks,

J

Re: Quark Extensions

I've seen Quark beta v6 in action and I think the funeral will be soon. Get and learn In Design it's the future.

XDream, Font/Pict XT, Shadowcaster, Gluon Plugin pack, Meadows Font Collector, PDF Export, Nouveau II, Type Tricks, Cool Blends, Scissors, Shape of Things, and more

You might check out: http://www.quark.com/products/xtensions/  for some free ones and to learn about others.

Some of these can be found on your installation CD as well.

Re: Quark Extensions

XDream, ALAP Imposer, Meadows Font Collector, PDF Export, and Full Measure.

Plus some other freebies and extras that were on the CD that I now can't tell apart from the actual Quark XTensions...
Some of these will probably be a rude awakening when I lose them in Quark 6.

Re: Quark Extensions

Jabberwocky, Pasteboard XT mad, Stars and Stripes, PDF Filter, and there's another that I'm missing... the one that makes fractions easy... I can't remember.  Some of those Quark 3 only too.

Viva Xpress 3!

edit: Now that I'm looking at them, I forgot Thing-a-ma-bob, and Change Case!

Re: Quark Extensions

I can't get enough of the PDF import, Full Measure, RegMarks, Cool Blends, the bleed menu thing one. RegMarks rocks So helpful to find where the file is located.

Re: Quark Extensions

Anyone using XPress Math, a Quark XPress 6.0 extension?

I need help to:
- use parentheses in maths expressions;
- control the size of the extension boxes;
- use a different size for the numbres and the signs (+, - ).

Thank you very much.

Re: Quark Extensions

Does anyone know how to automatized the format of numbers in Quark XPress 6.5, i.e. how to make sure there is always de same space between the first digit and the last three digits of a number in the thousands (i.e. 4 000 vs 4000)?

Thank you.
