What a weird thread. Not gonna read 10 pages of it, but have to say the most beautiful woman to me inevitably isn't hot after about 10 minutes to 24 hours. And I've even worked with many very beautiful celebrities, and it still applies. The problem is that beauty based on physical appearance is like a glass with no bottom, where its contents are within the glass for only a fleeting moment. Judging people you may not even know as beautiful is a pointless endeavor.
If you look around the table and can't tell who the sucker is, it's you.

Wow, after going through page 2, it's pretty funny how people choose the "top 40 of hot" women as their favs. What I mean is, I thought they were hot like 4 years ago, for like a day, and people still think they're hot! Interesting...Well, on to page 3...

I thought it was 2 years ago, but I see what you are trying to say. When this thread started, a google search came up with Vanessa Williams. Probably b/c she was Miss America a long time ago. Also, where do beauty standards lie? is it from the neck up? Can someone's neck and head be stunning, fully eclipsing an oddly shaped and proportioned body? I see this a lot in television where they can get away with mostly tight bust shots. Why don't previous classical notions of beauty for women hold up today, with huge wide blubbery women falling out of fashion while a man like Michaelangelo's David would still seem right on target? Why do the hot women of the eighties look like they were getting costumed for clown school in retrospect? Why do the ghetto teenagers think that giant gold hoop or trapezoid earrings look good with their hair plastered to their scalps and cinched tighter than anything known to man in the back? Who still thinks playboy magazine is erotic and why? Since beauty is such a debated topic all over the world, if you chose a girlfriend or wife for their beauty, can you upgrade if they lose it? Sorry for all the questions, but I figured somebody might enjoy them.

Most of the answers to your questions are subjective. PB is not so erotic, rather boring, imo.
Addendum: debating beauty is pointless but I don't see anything wrong with knowing what others think interesting/attractive.
