Schweet. That's one heckuva $30 package... doggone, on sale or after the price falls a bit, that's tempting to some folk who already own all those, as backups/ LAN party copies/ whatever.

(So this means I can scratch my secret plan to get you my backup original Unreal, Levi? big_smile )

Yeah. wink I had the first Unreal on backorder a couple years ago. After 8 weeks I killed the order. Never got Unreal II either or a PC version of UT. Only had the Mac and not in GOTY. The PC GOTY I have is...Oh look it's a bird, no a plane! wink

Peeps have alreay asked if the Unreal II is the XMP version. The article isn't clear on that. Not a biggie I think it's a free download.

Metacell: After reading it that was one of my first thoughts. MacSoft could do a Unreal, UT and UT2004 package but Unreal and UT were never updated to run well on OSX. That kinda puts a damper on things.

Almost certainly is; they got extra $ out of me after offering a Spec Ed. (for Xmas '03?). Turns out all that was 'special' was the XMP addition; not even a unified install with the small engine improvements like Truform support that XMP has. Now that ATi has dropped driver support for TF, there's no difference at all, but I'm sure they'll be using unsold U2 Spec Ed. CDs, so yes for XMP.
