Now all I need is a price drop on the hardware a couple months earlier and I'll be good to go.

Welp Nov. 21 is the one year mark. Maybe they will do something.

I'm hoping for a price drop too... I will be playing Halo 3 on release day, no matter how far into debt I need to go!
If I can get a 360 with a good game, well, all the better!

Although I'd really like to play GOW, I have a feeling I'll be snagging a used copy of GOW and a preowned 360 when Halo 3 comes out.
I've been blowing my money on vacations, girlfriends, and whatnot. I'm a little short on next gen console money.

Those in Canadia might be in luck. The rest of us- ok, you- appear to be out of luck. (Blame the even higher price of PS3).
I've got mine, Jack.
Emergence Day- bring it on.

The day after the PS3 launches… what a surprise. Microsoft is none too subtle.

Actually it's late. Most retailers and fans had a late Oct. date pegged.

I'm hedging that it was purposely pushed back.

Word is the actual ship date is Nov. 7th and Nov. 12th (a Sunday by the way) is the day it's guaranteed to be everywhere.

What a coincidence big products are shipping at the start of the Xmas buying season.

Given Bill Gate's lovely statements about launching Halo 3 the day of the PS3 launch, it's pretty damn naive of you to not see this for what it is.
