PRAM won't reset?
I've got a pile of G4 iMacs with openfirmware passwords installed. I'm doing the remove ram/zap pram/clear nvram trick to reset them, but a couple of them won't respond to option-apple-p-r. They just ignore it and start booting. Any suggestions? I've tried several keyboards.

Re: PRAM won't reset?
The data in firmware is not the same as the data in pram. A reliable mthode to clear pram in to remove the pram battery and let the unit sit over night.
It should clear over night.
