Can You Recommend Some Newly Released Games??
I am looking for some new games for my Mac - any suggestions? :-)

You obviously haven't been around Mac games for long. You can usually count the number of major yearly Mac game releases on your hands. If you go into indie or non-AAA releases, there are more, though.

If you don't mind a bit of oldness, and like ScienceFiction and shooter style, go for the Jedi Knight series or Star Trek Elite Force II.

Speaking of "new" games... I wonder whatever happened to the UB of Jedi Academy we were told about back in March of this year...
greenapple: If you've got the computer to run it, Call of Duty 2 absolutely rocks. And most of my older Mac games run similarly well on my MacBook Pro. Others to consider are Quake 4 and Doom 3. At least if you like first person shooters (I do).
If you've got an Intel Mac I'd seriously recommend downloading BootCamp and getting Pacific Fighters, should you find WWII flight sims to your liking. Very cool "game", once you go through all the upgrades to get it running!
Perhaps one day soon I'll try out one (or more) of the much-heralded Half Life series, or Halo 2 on the Dark Side of my MacBook Pro. But that'll be after I start making a bit more money than I currently earn (being an intern sucks!).

I wholeheartedly agree... be warned, though... It's not your typical FPS where you just run into a room and start blasting things. Do that and your ass will the the one blasted.
