The Black Eyed Peas
Everytime I hear/see a new Black Eyed Peas song/video, I think it's the lamest thing I've ever seen.
Seriously, they started off pathetically lame and just get progressively lamer with each song/video.
It makes me want to barf but it's totally amazing at the same time.
Oh yeah, and the guys I share my office with leave MTV on all day and whatever the newest heavy rotation, lamer than the last, Black Eyed Peas song is in at the moment gets played about a thousand times between 10 and 5. (That's my rant).

No band can possibly be cool after appearing in a cable TV ad.

The Black Eyed Peas used to be good.
Then they sold out.

I just like to look at Fergie's belly.
What was she singing? Beats me.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

While the Instant Def crew fight to preserve real hip-hop, Boo-T has been manufacturing fake hip hop for the masses. When he finds out that the crew is supporting true hip hop, he sends his henchman, DeVLe, to stop them with a Cosmic Cataconic Mind Blaster Disrupter. However, they survive, and the blast gives them super powers. Nathan, now known as Beat Down, can create irresistible beats. Ella, known as Tag, can create graffitti art that comes to life. Maximo, Eye4Eye, can switch minds with his dog. Moses, or Mecnism, has incredible intelligence and can create amazing gadgets. Together they've got to stop Boo-T and save true hip hop.
I'm not even a fan of hip-hop, but this makes me want to vomit.

Just when I thought they'd made the lamest piece of crap ever (the song/video I saw today), they come up with that! Amazing, what did I say, simply amazing how anything can be that lame.

Re: The Black Eyed Peas
When "My Humps" came out, I was overseas so I didn't really get exposed to it right away. Some time before I heard it, I had been hearing Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" and thought it was the worst song I had heard... Then "My Humps" just blew it away.

I thought "Don't Phunk with my Heart" was a fun video/song. But just the title "My Humps" made want to never ever hear the song(but unfortunately its been in a few commercials).

i think things started to go bad when they changed the song from "lets get retarded"
to "lets get it started" and then played it at an election night ralley in copely square for john kerry. oh the irony.

Some people think they changed when they added Fergie.

probably. shes not that attractive, generally changes a vaguely rap group into a hip hop/pop group. basically, shes really no help to them.

She's not the most beautiful woman in the world, but she certainly has a lot going for her. If she looks like a used-up whore to you, you've got some ultra-high-end hookers in your community.
To give her credit, I think her biggest problem is relatively minor - her obnoxiously sculpted eyebrows. And yes, sometimes she dresses like a smurf fourteen-year-old.
Not that I am following her career or anything, but sometimes you can't help but notice things, y'know?
