G4 iMac won't wake up
Last my girlfriend was using my machine and says she put it to sleep at the login screen. This morning I couldn't get it to wake up. Usually all it takes is the click of a mouse, but the diode in the mouse was out, so i don't even know is the comnputer can sense it.
I tried doing a hard reset, with no luck. What happens is the fan comes on, and I think I can hear the hard drive spinning, but no start up chime, and the screen stays black. Also the power light on the screen is solid, not blinking.
I tried re booting while holding down the apple and S keys, but I don't think it's sensing the keyboard. Please help!

Re: G4 iMac won't wake up
These machines which are more than 2 years old may have a bad PRAM battery and this is my first suspicion. Radio Shack and others will have them cheap.
