Still here. Still slightly insane. How's everyone? I'm a bit frustrated at the moment and I have been asking around for ideas and I know there are a TON of creative people here, so I find myself falling back upon you, my fellow mac lovers.

Here's the reader's digest condensed version: I have 22 days to raise $900.00

Here's the backstory: I'm walking 39 miles next month in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Back in May, when I signed up, I pledged $1,800. Sounded easy. Just $1 from 1,800 people. I signed a contract saying that if I didn't make that amount that I'd make the rest up in a "personal contribution." Well, I was a bit optimistic then. Now, I'm stuck needing $900 more and it's not falling off trees.

I'm having a yard sale (third one) this weekend and maybe going to the flea market on Sunday to sell stuff. I've got these pink ribbon car magnets that I've tried selling all summer, but no one wants them. I set up at several local festivals and events and I get either ignored or people ask me if my magnets are free, when I say for a donation, they get huffy and walk away.
I keep reminding myself that there are so many charities out there and that many people pick one and stick to it. I also keep reminding myself that there are so many people out there in need that don't have the extra dollar to give, even if they wanted to.


All summer, I have poured my heart and soul into this fundraising, despite my lack in donations. I'm about to pull my hair out, though. I honestly need some ideas. LAY THEM ON MEH!!!!
