Sony doesn't make explosive batteries for Sony.
Seems just a little strange doesn't it?

Re: Recall
For those of you who have the recalled batteries, how long did it take for you to get the replacement from Apple? Are you still waiting?
Just wondering, as I ordered the replacement on 8/25/06. Nothing here yet. I am aware that Apple said 4-6 weeks, so I'm not terribly concerned yet. I'm just curious if anyone got their replacement battery faster than that?

Re: Recall
I dont remember the exact date we ordered the replacement, but it probably was around the last week of august as well. They said 4-6 weeks, and we are still waiting. We had a notice in our mailbox that we received a package over the weekend, so it might have just arrived, but we'll see this afternoon when I get this package.

8/29 was the date I submitted my exchange request. Still patiently waiting.

Re: Recall
So I checked on that package we received over the weekend, and it did turn out to be the replacement battery. So, I guess it took just at 6 weeks. I'm glad that little sidetrip has been completed now.
