WoW n00b has some questions. help?
Hey guys the WoW vortex has sucked me in! I blame the 2 dollar 14 day trial i bought at a retail store
I swore I would never play WoW after spending years playing a MUD which is now defunct. I kept thinking
these "MUD's with pictures were just a fad"
Anyways so i played the demo loved it and order a copy
online i got a 2 demo it learn more of the game while I waited for it to arrive so I got my retail copy and
I gonna upgrade my first demo into a live account but is there i way i can pay to get the character built on
my 2 demo over to my first account? he is just a level 14 troll rouge but I would like him if at all possible.
Second question is the whole Alliance V Horde thing how seriously is this taken? I played both sides and
I seem to prefer horde so far but also seems like most players are Alliance as I have seen several Alliance
raids on the horde side and only one into Alliance territory. I guess those where the main to. Thanks ahead
of time for any answers!

you could probably pay to transfer your char on your second demo account to your first but i doubt it's worth it. getting to lvl 14 will take you all of 2-3 hours the second time around.
the horde vs. alliance thing can get pretty serious some times. early on in my server's history, a large raid was made on orgrimmar and thrall was slain. the horde came back with about 100 people sent to IF and another 100 to SW. this insanity eventually led to a server crash as they attempted to kill bronzebeard. usually, the whole pvp thing is not just about epeen.
with cross-server battlegrounds, you dont get the same rivalries you once had in pvp. there used to be lengthy posts on my server's forum about who sucked or who this person hated because they sucked or whatever. not so much anymore. of course, many of the high-end horde players left for other servers when the 2 main horde guilds disbanded. we now only have 1 horde guild in naxx and maybe 2 others that do AQ40. i recommend choosing horde if you're just starting now. also, try to find a young server. it'll make grouping in the lower levels easier. hope this helped.

About the only way Horde and Alliance can interact is by fighting. They can't even talk to each other. One of the few constructive interactions I'm aware of is through the neutral auction houses. I've occasionally rushed in and saved a Horde toon that was overmatched fighting mobs.
Heh, that would have been fun, crkfc.
