There are a lot of errors in the manual, from misspellings, to incorrect spells and abilities, to things like Hero Classes that will never be in the game. I never used my manual too much so I guess mine lucked out as far as glueing goes. But when I did browse through it a couple times I noticed the problems with the glue as well, perhaps thats why I left it. Hmm.

Yeah, I never looked at the manual really. It includes a lot of things that were either in beta or planned to be in shortly after that later got axed. The WoW website is a better source for info (and the expansion is supposedly including better in game help).

Settings are unique to each character.  Perhaps you set it up on your warlock and assumed they would carry over to your mage?

Yeah, the WoW manual is pretty useless.  I was a late adopter and they still had not updated portions of the manual on game details that were fixed soon after beta.

I've done that and I've checked the settings on each character and they seem to be the same but I still can't figure out why pressing "1" for the Warlock activates the primary weapon that I have on "1" - currently a sword but doesn't have any effect for the Mage on which "1" equals a staff.


I've fixed it. What I did wrong was that I dragged the wand and the staff from my characterpane instead of from the abilitiespane. Its fixed now.

Now what about those dense treebranches that's allways in the way? Make me wish I had a bigger screen or xray vision.
