Wiimotes seem to be in good supply - Nunchucks are another story though…

Your local may vary, but it's because our Wiis arrive via UPS instead of by their trucks... and they set the Wiis out as soon as they get them around here.

Re: Wii stake out - when are you heading into line?
I think I've got everyone but mentholiptus registered on mine. I'll have to get him and anyone else I missed (or who gets added) tomorrow, which will probably be a sick day for me, considering how I'm feeling right now. Barely had it in me to play Zelda.
Looking forward to seeing Mii's and getting messages from you folks, though.

I was finally able to snag a wii from Amazon last night. (No tax!) Now we'll just see if it ships on time...

Very nice!
I'm going to be camping out at a Circuit City that I know has them, but is holding them for a Sunday release down in Nashville.

...and it already shipped today, so it was legit.
Last night Amazon was releasing a few per hour...it was weird, I hit reload a few times at 3am and suddenly one came up.

Re: Wii stake out - when are you heading into line?
Strange that Dell's selling those Nunchucks.
$19.90, folks. Ships in 1-2 weeks
Contoured to fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk Controller from Nintendo® builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. It offers an expansion port that lets you connect Wii Remote controller. This controller contains the motion-sensing technology that is enabled in the Wii Remote controller and includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. You can use the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller to move your characters and the Wii Remote controller to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game. Featuring two buttons for quick access and ambidextrous design, the Nunchuk Controller makes you feel like you are part of the action.

Re: Wii stake out - when are you heading into line?
Definite omgwtfbbq.
Dell has a Games section on their online shop. Xboxes, DS Lites, PSPs, PS2s, Logitech Racing Wheels.. Did not know that.
The Wii category lists 21 items. Nunchuk, Wii remote, 2000-point Wii Points Card, Classic Controller, and 17 Wii games. The games are 9¢ cheaper than the usual $49.99
Man, when did this happen?

I noticed that not long ago when browsing around for monitors. An Xbox 360 came up as a related item. WTF?

Yeah, some people on a board I post on were getting great deals on 360s awhile back by using dell small business coupons on them.

Re: Wii stake out - when are you heading into line?
I have a recent graphics programming textbook... does that count? Me dev, me get heap big discount!
(Actually I pointed out in a recent thread they were $340 at Dell. That may still be the case).
Yeah, the Games section at Dell's been there since last Spring at the latest.
