Re: It's coooooooooooooooold!

Bah and humbug, I say.

When you can throw a bucket of water up in the air and hear it freeze on the way down, then you better find a warm place to hide!!

Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious.

Re: It's coooooooooooooooold!

i'm so stoked for the cold! it's finally snowing in the Sierra, after a late start this year. Just in time for my ski lease. Susie + snowboarding = extremely happy Susie (i did have to get a space heater for the apartment, though...no other heat to speak of.)

While i'm happy for all you snowboarding types, i'm not looking forward to snowboarding season. Last year, my son broke his leg bad enough to have 24 or 28 (i can't remember the amount)  pins put it. They left 8 of them in permanently.

Re: It's coooooooooooooooold!

I can't get excited by cold weather in this country. We don't get any real snow to speak of, but the temperatures regularly fall low enough to cause inconvenience -- cars frosted up in the mornings, sheet ice on the lanes, freezing fog... Makes commuting to work even more irksome than usual. Grrr.
