Re: Zune 4 Stars on Amazon...
I bet their support lines are already clogged by people who can't understand why a "Plays For Sure" song won't even play on an iPod.

CNN and Engadget are in the MacAddict bubble too. I suppose in about 12 months when the Zune quietly folds, and goes the way of the rockin' Dell DJ and many, many others, the only logical conclusion will the that the whole world is in that magical Apple MacAddict warp-zone bubble.
In addition to the Gizmoto guys, I was waiting to hear from IGN and ARS Technica regarding the Zune, and they finally chimed in:
....snip...
ok, its been driving me nuts for a while now.. its gizmoDo, not gizmoTo

Believe it or not, when you leave the Macaddict bubble and venture to other web sites, the Zune is actually getting good reviews.
I'll need to touch the thing before my mind is made up. That said, the fanboytitus is fairly rampant in these forums. Most folks concluded that Zune was a POS even before pictures emerged.
THANK YOU for at least keeping an open mind. I bought a Zune an like the dang thing. It needs improvement, but then again I bought the gen 1 of the iPod and it didn't have any of the "extras" that are available now. My biggest beef with the current gen iPod is that it isn't built as sturdily as the 1st gen model (sans the firewire connection). My Zune feels like a tank. To each his own.

NAG...should you start acting like an adult if you are going to be the moderator of a forum? Name calling doesn't seem very intelligent. Sorry I didn't catch the thread the first time around, but since when did it become a federal crime to respond to an older thread. If MacAddict didn't want folks to do this they would put some type of limiter on the response time. Since that isn't the case, square yourself away and use your authority as Moderator in a proper manner and not as a pissy child.

You're funny.
Seriously - bringing back a 1 month + old thread is frowned upon. This is stated very clearly on this forum, and I doubt you were unaware of this fact.
Two - whether your impressions of the Zune are genuine or not, the manner in which you present them very much resembles astro-turfing, and / or trolling. The comparison fits.
So drop the strawman fallacy (name calling), brush up on your netiquette and please don't poke the moderators: for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup
There is some solace in knowing that some things just can't be attained by throwing piles of money at them in the name of corporate greed. --CaptKevMan
