Firewire to USB 2.0 Connector for iPod?
My little brother got a new iPod for Christmas, but it won't work with his 2002 iMac (flat-panel) because it doesn't have USB 2.0. Are there any solutions for him to be able to use his iPod with his music collection?
Would, say, a USB 2.0/Firewire hub work without a USB 2.0 bus?

It'll run on a USB 1.0 bus, but at USB 1.0 speeds. Not ideal.
Tell you what, I've got an old 2.0 ipod with a funky battery. He could swap with me; I'll pay for a replacement battery and he can use my firewire ipod and I'll use his usb ipod.
