There we go. That's the only redeeming quality. That we will refer to the board as milf.

Re: MacAddict Forums Migration Plan
This were basically the first "modern" forum I joined as well (I'm not counting the BBS's, etc. from the early days of the Intarwebs and before).
Hopefully, the SmooveSmoke theme will stay, as well as Max. This is still a sad day, though; I joined this forum because of the "MacAddict" name.

What could possibly go wrong?

Don't worry, it's not the only thing not fully thought out about this whole ordeal.
This'll be just like in the past month when we had a buyout of our cellular company right before the holidays. That's going to be nothing compared to the nightmare that's going to occur for trying to take advantage of some possible trickle-down publicity.

By the sound of it, thank god for client-side CSS overrides.

If it were a pipe, it would mean something. Here it's a just a funny little line that someone thought looked cool. Anyone claiming 'Oooh! No! It's the output of your Mac being pumped into ... your... life' needs fixing.

My theory about the pipe is this (quote from the MacAddict changing name to MacLife?-thread)
...That blue pipe between Mac and Life is the rest. But what is the rest when you take away Mac and Life? Is there anything else than Mac and Life? Love, family, work that's part of "Life" and "Mac" thats selfexplanatory. I guess the pipe is the Magazine formerly know as MacAddict that does it's best to bind the two together just so that we don't have to do it ourselves...or something like that...
Also, about the acronym. Though Milf is sort of funny I don't see it as the most natural acronym. For Macaddict forums the acronym was taken out something like this:
MacAddict Forums
or maybee like this: MacAddict Forums
So for the new forums it could be taken out either like this (if you consider the pipe as the letter "i"):
Mac|Life Forums
or, in my opinion, more naturaly like this this:Mac|Life Forums ie MaLF (as in MALK*)instead of MILF
*From the Simpsons

Kinda overkill isn't it, an old poopforma 6400 ought to do.
I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Lifeline. I got a call center in Pakistan, and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

Yeah, it's quite startling to think of people missing these things. A big new Conservative party launched in Canada with huge fanfare a few years ago, designed to overturn the political order and usher in a new age for federal politics.
I forget what the letters stood for, but the name was CCRAP.
