Hate is such a strong word.  I might go as far as to say that some higher officials at both companies frequently test the limits of the law, often successfully, but sometimes not.  Some call them bullies, others call them business geniuses.  Personally, I think they're jerks. A good example of people from the business world who deserve hatred are those involved in the Enron scandal.

I guess it's definition is relative. I can think of stronger, but they would be replaced with "smurf" by way of the forum filter.

Microsoft, RIAA, Motorola, Sony, Ford, Kodak.

Oh and MS got away with a lot. I don't think that the creator of QDOS thinks that Bill Gates should have gotten away with it. Only reason he did is that the laws weren't there and were since implemented to prevent it happening again. If Gates hadn't done that (or had been punished for it), the entire history of the PC would be rather different.

I hate Microsoft & the RIAA (including Sony BMG).
I dislike Dell.
I have no great love for Sony Electronics or Motorola but I don't hate them

I like Sony Televisions, hate root kits, like Viao laptops, hate proprietary storage formats.

I love my Xbox and the Xbox division, I dislike Windows, I like the Mac BU, hate that they won't port an Exchange client.

Could easily split Sony up into parts that I do like and parts I don't. I love the looks of their hardware, generally. It's nice to see that at least one other company puts genuine effort into making stuff that works AND looks good. M$ is harder 'cause the XBox is ok, and I really like Word and Excel, but that's about it.

RIAA and the music industry in general pisses me off more than anything else (in which Sony BMG is involved, but that's the only part of Sony I hate that much). They, along with artists that get paid too much and just wind up becoming smurfs, are the people I dislike the most.

Oh, and I don't like M$ and Sony for escalating prices for gaming consoles. That's why I'm sticking to my PS2 for a loooooooong time.

I got an Xbox 360 last year for Christmas, so I've had mine for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say, when I first got it I wasn't so impressed.

Now that I have the HD VGA cable, and a nice display, I'm starting to really enjoy it. Also, the games they've released in the past few months have been great, along with the upcoming titles. Plus all the things they've added to Xbox Live, wow.

Yet, I wish they would add some support for sharing from iTunes, because while we have six other computers in the house running Windows XP, all my media is on my mac.
