Christmas Lights
Here's a picture of our home from tonight. I had to boost the gamma too much, so try to ignore the grainy image.

Re: Christmas Lights
Looks good! Some people tend to go overboard with the xmas decorations, and it usually looks tacky IMHO.

Re: Christmas Lights
You should see some of the houses around here. I'll take a picture of them if I can -- there are so many lights, it's hard to see the actual house to which they've been affixed.

Re: Christmas Lights
Here's OFSG Manor back in '99 when we had snow at Christmas here in Minnesota:

I know the lights aren't that spectacular (you should see what some people do around here!), but I took this picture because of the clouds and moon and it turned out OK. This year is expected to be warmer and dryer than usual due to El Nino, so it's not looking good for a White Christmas.
Happy Holidays, everyone!

Re: Christmas Lights
With the moon behind your house, you could make that one seriously spooky pic with just a little editing. Nice place btw
In SoCal, the grass never goes dormant in the winter. I just scale back my lawn mowing to twice a month. Tomato plants don't die either. They pick up growing where they left off the year before.
