Re: what torrent client do you use?
What I like about Azureus us the amount of control it provides. For instance suppose you've been following a series torrent for a while and they decide to consolidate the files into a batch. You do not necessarily want to download episodes 1-25 to get episode 26. Or say for instance you want to download a 9 GB batch torrent and you only have 6 GB of drive space to spare. With Azureus you just select to not download the files you don't want.

Re: what torrent client do you use?
Transmission, but only because I don't really do torrents on the Mac (yet). I haven't yet found anything that seems to me comparable to utorrent, and I also wish it were available for OS X.

Re: what torrent client do you use?
Transmission, but xTorrent looks nifty so I'll probably give it a whirl when I get home from college.

Re: what torrent client do you use?
To the people that use Azureus:
When you go to preferences and you go to interface it says enable status bar icon. Where is this icon at? Is this the icon on the top right of my screen net to the bluetooth and volume icons? Also it has the options to minimize to the status bar icon. It is enabled but it doesn't seem to do anything different when I have it enabled or disabled.
Thanks for the help.

I do it in a gnome-terminal.
I use to do it in an xterm - but they are forcing me to use gnome-terminal.
You see - highlighting something and choosing "copy" use to let me past in a xterm window, but *sigh* - they broke that, so now to paste, I have to use gnome-terminal - even though gnome-terminal takes up much more screen space than an xterm window.

Re: what torrent client do you use?
Almost always Transmission. When I need to download a specific file from a torrent, Azureus wins by default (it's the only Mac client with that functionality). Otherwise, Azureus == bloatware.

Re: what torrent client do you use?
It really depends. Most times I use Transmission, other times I play around with xtorrent. Sometimes I just use Acquisitions torrenting abilities.
