Re: Happy 10th to my 6100/66

I have over 30 Macs in my collection.  big_smile  Even my collection is small compared to some people I know.

My collection is big enough!  The next time I buy a mac I'll take advantage of the recycle program an unload the mac se.

Re: Happy 10th to my 6100/66

My first Mac was a Performa 6115CD..... a PowerMac 6100/60 with cd rom drive... I used it for about 6 or 7 years.... kept it for a bit longer after getting my G4, but ultimatly, it was having a seriouse crashing problem that apparently happend due to overheating(the case wasn't the best of designs when it comes to cooling)...

It would start crashing hard and I'd have to open it up, unplug every single connection inside, plug everything back in, and close it up just to get it to stop crashing... I felt very attatched to it as it was my first computer, but it was really frustrating me so I gave up on it and gave it away. cry

Give it away, don't send it to its death!  eek  There are several places online to pass that machine on such as:  Freecycle.org, Craigslist, and certain forums.
