New custom map

anyone want to try out my new custom map, once I'm finished with it. which should be a few days if I keep at it. I just need to get a scoreboard implemented and script the computer player. It's kinda like Castle Defense but it's got a few twists, like the fact that there are three choke points outside the actual castle/fortress and you can build towers. Also there are heros (all with LOTR names) but you can only have one at a time and they are expensive. Also instead of a King you have a alter which actually has a heal ability.

yeah, if anyone wants to try my map email me. Ill email it back to you.  And maybe, if somone starts working on our site again, we can host our own maps.  Though I think we should all submit them at maps.warcraftiii.net so more ppl can see, and you'll get back more feedback.  Oh and Im Blak in case you don't guess from my sig

Well, here's my 0.5 release, needless to say it isn't completely finished but it's playable at this point, just finally got the scoreboard working right.

Fortress Defense

oh and don't spread it around too much, seeing as it isn't finished.

eek I was playing the map and I came across a very bad bug.  A player (not sure which color) move a unit into the undead zone. Then we lost control of all our units and could see nothing. I dunno what happened.

I am proud to say my map is officaly nearing 1.0 phase, I will post as soon as all bugs and balances are fixed.

fixed. I added a check to make sure it wasn't a human player affected by the movement script. Also added a script to kill all user units that enter that region so don't go there. Also fixed the bug that deleted all your units, (someone left game and it is supposed to delete their buildings and units, but I messed up and had it delete ALL player buildings and units. It's fixed now).

I played your map twice by myself.  The first time through I used the Arch Mage.  I managed to open every chest and get inside every room.  I did die at the final boss when 6 of those rock guys kicked my ass faster than I could click on the potions.  cry

The second time through I took the Mountain King.  This time I could not kill the civilian and open the door to the South of him.  I tried everything and don't remember why I could kill him the first time I played.  When I got to the end guy this time, the MK was too much for him.   twisted

It is a good map and I really enjoyed playing it.

the peoin thing is a secret, and there are two other secrets, and map will be twice as long as soon as it goes 1.0, thanks for comments.  If you really wanna know about peasant email me. I don't wanna give it away.
