Armort.WoW
So its neat and up to date and clean, but uh, why? "Because we can" really is the only thing that comes to mind.

Re: Armort.WoW
It was one of the features they said they would have at launch however many years ago (it was supposed to also have a picture of your character). The web team was just catching up.

Re: Armort.WoW
ah did not know that, but either way there's already plenty of sites that do this (more than plenty in fact). Will this perhaps someday lead to a wowpedia or something to take over thotbotts job? Especially since it seems less and less people are contributing to thotbott with hard data (I keep it running though it slowl my older computer)

Re: Armort.WoW
Those sites relied on mods and manually uploading information. Additionally, the parsers were not mac compatible (at all as far as I know).

Pretty sure they main reason they put it out now is for arena rankings.

Re: Armort.WoW
thotbott worked fine on my mac, but cosmos supported macs which is perhaps why, oh and sorry Kirk I meant armory.wow. Just go to the wow main site and you'll see the beta link, I dunno if you can get to it from the outside... nm yes you can just go to
armory.worldofwarcraft.com

Re: Armort.WoW
well once you've run the raids so much, what else is there? On whisperwind horde I've done a few recruit runs with band of bothers, they drop purples like their greens heh.

Re: Armort.WoW
This is far more comprehensive, easy to use, and up to date when compared to any of the other sites that did this.

Re: Armort.WoW
my friend actually had an interesting view, he doesn't like it because on PvP you usually don't want people to know your equipment or skills set. Particularly if your a really good PKer etc. The equipment wouldn't be that hard to figure out but the skill set of course is a big giveaway

Re: Armort.WoW
Ah heh, good point. So Blizz should offer players the option to turn off this feature.
.

.
Until then, somebody point me at a good PvP player and I'll match his talent points and weapons.

Re: Armort.WoW
if you wanna see a good warlock (i'm good but not pvp spec right now and not doin arenas
) you should look at Tiz. He's on some of the best arena's around and, aside from a few tailoring pieces, has gear that you don't need to raid to get.
...but hey, what do I know
