Re: MacLife.com

Hey Deb, do you mean here, down at the bottom of the left side, the list of departments? They don't show up as links in my browser (OmniWeb), and looking at the page's source, they're just plain text, so it's definitely something glitchy on your end if they're showing up as links.

Hope that helps.

Re: MacLife.com

Hey, G,

Yes, that is where I mean. I'm using Safari so I figured it'd be compatible, but don't really have a clue as to why.

Thanks, though.

Re: MacLife.com

Hey, I think I got the RSS feeds established today -- but, since I gotta admit that I'm more an HDA and microarchitecture geek than a Web coder, I may have erred.  Lemme know at webmaster (at) maclife.com if something's wanky.

Re: MacLife.com

Wow, my chance to talk to THE Rik Myslewski! Anyway, I should have brought this up earlier, but I would just like to say I miss the Max-themed skin for the forums. I know you have more important things to do, and you really aren't in charge of making those things, but if you could keep that in mind and try to set the wheels in motion, I promise to be good, and eat all my vegetables. Amen.

I talked with Max about this, and he says that he's quite enjoying his retirement in (http://www.suncitycenter.com), feeling mighty spiffy in his (http://www.sansabelt.com) and greatly enjoying the comfort of his (http://www.jobst-usa.com). Knowing that cranky - albeit lovable - li'l bastid as well as I do, I can assure you that he ain't a-comin' back.

Re: MacLife.com

I hope his kids at least have the courtesy to visit him. I know that Freakin' Awesome and li'l Spiffy probably will, but that stinker Blech! won't, and will probably end up sending him hate mail. So-So is probably on the fence about the whole thing, having no happy memories of his daddy in particular.

Re: MacLife.com

Hey, Mr. Rik,

Since you are now in charge of the website, I'll throw this out to you.

I had a devil of a time finding a place to submit a question to Ask the Experts and finally found a tiny link at the bottom of an individual question and answer.

May I suggest you add a link on the main Ask the Experts page for folks to submit a question?  A nice, big shiny one!

Unnnnnnless....youuu... don't really want tooo many questions....at once.....  ;-)

'K! Thanks!

~Deb

I'm not web-saavy or anything but why can't we just have an RSS feed for the page itself so that it shows in the safari address bar? It would also be nice because some people don't want separate feeds when they can have just one feed to get every Mac|Life.com update. Or maybe that "some" is just me... Anyways, just my 2 cents hmm
