Mac Addict Lives
WFT is what I thought when I finally got a hold of copy of first Mac|life issue to find an Addict sticker sitting over the Life part of the cover. What, would we not know about the change? Really Dudes!

Guess you can't please everyone. Longer the association with the Addict name, the better, I feel.

I think that the first issue of MacLife on the magazine racks had an "Addict" sticker over the "Life" part so that the folks who get only an occasional issue would be alerted to the change. Not everyone picks up every issue.

The last Mac addict I read was from 2003. It was a big suprise when the MacLife magazine came when I renewed my subscription from one of the mail-in card things.
I was like huh? Is this a magazine subscription from 1997, when I sent for every mac magazine out there, and they just got around to sending it? 
I didn't know about the change.

As far a I'm concerned Mac Life just lost a customer. I have subscribed to Mac Addict on and on for almost 10 years, not any more Why can't people just leave a good thing alone? Mac Addict was different form the "other mac magazines". The downfall started a years ago when they got rid of the "belch" review ratting. Oh well guess it's time to go back to Mac World
