DVDSP4 Tutorial
Hey guys. Back in December I upgraded from FCP 4.5 to FCS 5.1. Included in that upgrade was DVD Studio Pro, which I've never really used before.
I'd like to get a tutorial for the program (book and/or DVD) and would just like to get some opinions on the various sources that are available.
I've read some pretty mixed reviews at places like Amazon for different guides.
Is there one in particular that anyone here has used and really liked or disliked?
Thanks!

Re: DVDSP4 Tutorial
I used the Apple DVDSP book for version 2 a few years ago...it was OK, but can't say you should buy it, at 50 bucks.
kenstone.net has some good tutorials on everything from the FCS line. Might not be what you're looking for, but its free.

Re: DVDSP4 Tutorial
Last I remember there are some tutorials in the manual...
"Overall, the results are pretty clear: Mac users might not actually be smarter than PC users, but they certainly use better English and a larger vocabulary to express more complex thinking."

Re: DVDSP4 Tutorial
The tutorials in the Manuals for DVDSP are surprisingly very good. They even have sections detailing how to make easter eggs and other more advanced stuff like scripting. It is a very good place to start.
"...by an expert?"
"Worse, a committee of experts."

Re: DVDSP4 Tutorial
Thanks guys. I am slowly making my way through the manual, but didn't know if there were some other resources that someone might recommend. You know, the whole "I want a DVD, I'm a visual learner" kind of excuse
Keep 'em coming!

Re: DVDSP4 Tutorial
Thanks all. I think for right now with all the info in the manual and the Ken Stone site, I have more than enough to keep me busy. It's nice to see that there are other things available for the future though if I don't feel like I've covered nough ground in the other resources.
