Re: Favorite Website Design

I also like Apple a lot. It is organized and attractive, and its one of the few major sites that are easily navigable.

Yeah, I like the joelschou site, too.
I also like electric pulp, which I stumbled on accidentally, and not to sound partial, but the MacMod site kicks ass smile

Re: Favorite Website Design

If we're talking about purely visual appeal, http://www.gizcore.com/ is pretty snazzy. I haven't decided whether or not I like its navigation and flow yet though.

Re: Favorite Website Design

Yeah, Gizcore is pretty cool visually.

An aside question.  How was the slideshow done under Gizcore's "Laboratory" (portfolio) page?  Thrica, I noticed you used the same on your page.  Its pretty cool and I have seen it popping up more and more lately.

Either that or I have had WAY too much time to surf the webz at work! big_smile

Lightbox 2 is a pretty neat and surprisingly modular set of Javascript actions for that sort of thing.

Heh. Yeah, I'm going to use it in my website, as well. There's a Lightbox module for the Drupal CMS.

Danke!

It's been a year+ since I blogged because, well, I'm not a blogger. I can't keep it up. The site's going to get redesigned eventually. Dunno when.

Look at it this way: you've sold as many paintings as Van Gogh—and you have both your ears.
Thanks, Dad.

Re: Favorite Website Design

I know it's all flash, but the interactivity of this site was jaw-dropping when it was shown to me in my marketing class. If you haven't seen it before, you'll want to.

I love that site. It's one of the few all-flash sites that is acceptable.
