Macbook Pro/ Laptop Stand

I'm looking to pick up a desk stand for my 15'' Macbook Pro for my dorm.  The 'Griffin Elevator Notebook Stand' caught my eye, but does anyone have any experience with it or any of the other brands?  As always, thanks for the help.

Dont worry Mr iMac you will be back, we'll keep the chocolate warm for you.

Gee, you got a Windows box to blue screen?  That's inconceivable!

Thank you Macskeeball for my great new avatar!

Re: Macbook Pro/ Laptop Stand

I really like my Targus Podium Coolpad.  Puts it at a nice angle, keeps the MacBook cool, etc.  Swivels, too.

Re: Macbook Pro/ Laptop Stand

I have one and it's a little awkward to balance the macbook pro when using on your lap as the base of the stand is not wide enough. But if you're wanting one to use on a table then if is perfect. You have 2 degrees of elevation using little feet that you stack on top of the others.

Re: Macbook Pro/ Laptop Stand

I have one for my Macbook. As the previous poster said, it's not good for your lap, but rocks as a desk mount.

Alright, thanks for the help.  Since I only need a desk mount it'll be perfect.  By the way, McAddict, what FIRST Team are you associated with?  Send me a PM

These look nice.

FWIW - I have the iLap and have enjoyed it much more than I originally thought I would. It's even pretty convenient to move from desk to couch, etc., and is much more comfortable for basic use...not to mention the heat.
