Re: ahhh... the memories!

Yeah, i have a lot of fond memories too of RTCW... ET just isn't the same, so i've been playing a lot of RTCW lately on happy penguin's depot server. If anybody old MA'ers want to dust off their copy of RTCW, go to the happy penguin server. No ip necessary, you'll be able to find it since there are only about 10 servers left on the master list lol

Re: ahhh... the memories!

MP was definitely more fun than ET, plus a lot more competitive.  Unfortunately I have no idea where my cd is for it and I never had it installed on my current computer sad

...but hey, what do I know

As soon as the osX version is out.

Clan MA| wolf division is a good as dead. Server will be off line soon (if it's not already). Nothing good lasts forever cry

Yep, I picked it up a few days after it came out, as I really liked the demo.  I've got a pc and a mac sharing my keyboard and a 24 inch lcd, so it's easy to switch back and forth to play.  The full version has 12 new maps with a feature that also allows you to find friends and clan mates online.  It also allows you to IM each other within the game as you find a common server to play on.   You can pick up the full version for bootcamp at BestBuy for 40 bucks or so.  For those of you that have intel based macs, it may be something to look into while you wait for the osx version.  I can sense that it is going to be bigger than rtcw and et combined.  As of last night, there were more than 1800 servers in the master list.  This only a few weeks after its release!

I've played the crap out of sewer and valley ....can't wait to see the other 10 maps. They had the buddy list in the beta, it's pretty darn handy! VoIP is also coming sometime down the line ...in a patch.

Re: ahhh... the memories!

I'm still lost on many of the maps, but am slowly but surely getting them down.   I've been playing with some of the (!) guys and have my config tweaked, but am still getting my ass handed to me.  If you pick up the pc version for bootcamp, look me up on xfire under macsilver.  I think that you can also get the xfire plugin for Adium in osx if I'm not mistaken.
