Re: Itunes and real audio files
No. Real formats are proprietary. There once was an app for Windows that would convert RealAudio to mp3, but Real sued it out of existence.
Besides, tho' I hate to say it, RealOne is not that bad. Better than RealPlayer on OS 9, anyway.

Re: Itunes and real audio files
If you investigate on version tracker, you might be able to find something that will record streams to .aiff files. Just a thought.

I've used Audio Hijack to do just that.
You have to download the link target for the .ram file, then have Audio Hijack launch the RealOne player & begin recording. You'll get a large .aiff file, but iTunes can convert it to .mp3.
I think there's a fuller version of Audio Hijack now available which will let you go straight to .mp3.

The one issue is that, if you just want to listen to the radio broadcast once through iTunes, as opposed to saving it using Audio Hijack + RealOne, that's impossible. Everything that's been suggested here so far is related to saving a stream to uncompressed audio, converting it to mp3 [or skipping that step with AH Pro, says tngland] for listening to it as a local mp3 in iTunes.
At this point in time iTunes cannot play RealAudio streams. Don't count on this functionality being added in soon; though I'm sure Apple would do this for us, it's not their decision.
