I Just Now Installed Bryce 5.5

Now What?

Where would I go for a tutorial, I've never used anything like this software before, so I'm at the absolute beginner's level.

Thank!

No you click the picture of the water, the picture of the mountains, and the picture of the sphere. Then you make magical worlds with floating orbs.

What you do with these worlds, I don't quite know. I think you just put them on the internet.

I pretty much hate the Bryce interface; Vue isn't much better.  Not to mention they are funky with the Y&Z axis being flipped.

I made a tree once with Bryce...all I had to do was click on something, and BOOM! There it was.

I paid good money for Bryce once. Never used it for anything.

Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

Unless you become as little children, there's no way you will believe this crap.

Not exactly a modeler.

It cheapens people perceptions of a real 3D program- click a button and instant everthing. Not exactly how it really works if you want something original or accurate.

You can flip the Y and Z axis in the preferences.

More accurately, it's hardly a modeler at all.

It cheapens people perceptions of a real 3D program- click a button and instant everthing. Not exactly how it really works if you want something original or accurate.

But it gives studios something to chuckle about when a job candidate puts "Bryce expert" on their resume. wink

Never tried. MAybe?

I wouldn't bother learning, it's probably buried in some dialogue box somewhere. By the time you figure it out you could have spent that time learning something in a real program that will eventually be useful to you.

You can with Cinema 4D.

And it doesn't take a day and a half to render something that Cinema could render in 4 minutes.
