I got it back. He didn't seem to be bothered by me picking it up, nor the fact that he will be paying for the lenscap. I guess that's just his uncaring self, huh?

This "friend" of yours-- is he from San Francisco? 'Cause --from what I've observed-- we do that kinda thing to each other all the time, whereas most New Yorkers know better than to act that way.
