Official: Halo 3 4-way Co-op
Since some of you don't get to Games, I'll repeat it here:
Four Player Online Coop Confirmed for Halo 3
Luke Smith confirmed (over on the NeoGAF boards) that online coop for Halo 3 is in, and supports four players. I'd give that a double W00t! and a couple of Wongas! to boot! Thanks, Phatcorns. (mnemesis 18:53:47 UTC) (permalink)

Yeah, that's an issue for many. But at least it's another great option for a clan that will soon sport a trilogy of titles in its bailiwick.
We don't currently plan on abandoning any just because it isn't the latest.

I can't wait to make battle squads.
Hmm... me wonders if they will jack up the difficulty for additional players.

But it's August and he's presumably just finished reading about Hogwarts, so he might as well see Warthogs.

..As a result, you’re going to want to play co-op as hard as you can stomach it. We’d certainly recommend Legendary, but we’ll be revealing some more ways to make the game more interesting and challenging for multiple players in the very near future.

Yup. Otherwise it'd just be 4-way multiplayer, or 4 man teams, 8 total. No big news there.

Same as you, Donkey Butter, I too do not have a 360, but I plan on getting one before Halo 3 is released... It seems much better than Halo 2 did.

Sure. Icks hasn't even said he's in yet, and there'll always be times when someone can't make it and a spot opens up. I'm also sure co-op won't feel old for some time, and I'll be up for more than one playthru.

Earlier I did a speedrun thru the Sentinel factory to spend more time on the good stuff, and he's all "No, no; ya gotta kill everything!"

(And Levi, I keep forgetting- the Oracle does have a second line, but you have to wait awhile, like another 4-5 minutes. It's not in the HBO dbase, either. Hardcore).
