Mac crash
I have an eMac OSX v10.3 which I bought in 1/2005. Since then it has crashed twice. The last time was a week ago.
I would like to know what makes a mac crash?

Re: Mac crash
I think you will need to provide more detail on the crash. Does it lock up when using a specific app? Is there a kernel panic? Does it not boot up properly?
If it's due to a lock-up or kernel panic, state all the applications you were running at the time.

A few things can make a Mac crash.
Not running maintenance on your machine after installing anything outside your home directory.
A poorly written application
Bad RAM or or a problem with a USB device.

Re: Mac crash
Thanks Light Speed, I'm not good with computers would love to find someone that does at home computer maintenance.
Thanks Manwe, the only thing I can say is that before the crashes the few (two) applications that I use worked fine, and then after they started giving me problems the printing too. The windows on the programs freeze, and I can't work the programs or print. I get alot of break up too of the image on the screen.
Sorry I really don't know how to explain it.
