Getting around school firewalls.
Is there anyway to get around the schools firewalls to go to places like photobucket or something? Trying to get some of my artwork from that website and also to go to facebook and such

If you have a legitimate use, go ask the IT guys. They're usually helpful enough.

Your school blocks Photobucket? Jesus. Facebook I can understand, I remember being in a comp class with a lot of freshman that would do nothing but go on MySpace and then complain about bad participation grades.

I remember using a proxy override a few years ago but that type of search in google is often blocked. Perhaps you can do this :
Use a home computer
Find a site that isn't blocked (like this one)
post link to proxy override site
if proxy override site isnt blocked in school, use it there.

You should also review any policies regarding the firewall. Trying to get around it can get you suspended or even expelled for making the attempt at some schools.

find somewhere else to upload the artwork. there are plenty of sites that will let you upload images for free that your school probably doesn't block.
