Re: WoW no more
Yeah, when you do Mech thats how you do it. But death is time wasted so ... eh. I came to prefer mana tombs. Easier, better money, faster, no risk of death involved, good stuff. Although the couple times I did Mech, I got bringer of death (I think its called) so it wasn't to bad.

In Mana-Tombs the items range from 63-67/68 iirc. In Mechnar its much higher, since its a level 70 instance the greens/blues are 67-70. So you'll need to skill up that enchanting bot.

Re: WoW no more
The new PvP gear system is designed to offset the old, pre-expansion nightmare of Tier 3-equipped guilds running amok in battlegrounds, utterly destroying the guys who worked hard to earn their PvP blues. In the Burning Crusade, PvE gear isn't very beneficial in battlegrounds or the arena due to the lack of resilience and stamina. Conversely, a rogue in gladiator gear will do less overall DPS than a rogue in the equivalently PvE gear because he's sacrificing agility/crit/AP points on the aforementioned stats.
Therefore, neither side should get too bent out of shape about each other's gear.

Re: WoW no more
It is pretty confusing. If you look at the number of people who have been really into pvp and arena over the past couple years it's bizarre how little new content they've given us for it. The arena barely counts as new content (if at all) and EoS was a good idea but failed in execution. If you consider all the pve content since then (more 5-40 man instances than I can count.... Outland in its entirety) it really comes as just a slap in the face to those of us who prefer player vs. player stuff. Oh well, let's see if warhammer is any good.

Re: WoW no more
I'm almost considering getting back into WoW... (don't worry, I was never much of a player when I did play, I usually only did one or two things and got off) I just like playing for a bit, then stopping. Maybe get a character to 70 after a bit, then quitting the game for a bit (in this case ~6 months) and starting up again.
Sort of off subject, but can you create a new account with the same activation code as your first? Possibly deleting your old account enables a new account to be created?

Re: WoW no more
To be completely honest, most of my time was spent running through Stormwind, naked.
EDIT: I also want to check out the Wrath of the Lich King, I really only plan on getting a character to level 80 then quitting, just like what I did on my first char (obviously only to 70).

Re: WoW no more
I quit WoW about three months ago. I miss it every now and then. But... Reason I quit? I was tired of leveling. Azeroth no longer held its level of fun for me. Outlands and Northrend were no problem for me. But after leveling three 70's, only getting somewhere with one, and not enjoying the DPS game, I got tired.
I began leveling a Feral Druid that would respec at 75 to Resto. I loved healing with a resto Druid. However, at level 46, I called it quits. Everything is a grind in that game. Too much like real life. Haha.
