Breaking News - Iceland pulling out of Iraq
I just heard this on the news - Iceland has decided to pull out of the Iraq.
The one soldier they have there, working as a media correspondent or something like that, will be withdrawn in a month.

Forget Poland, we forgot Iceland!
Spirit was crushed; now is fading, But I want to help make things right.
Because I can see and I can feel, and you can see and you can feel
So why don't we both either stand up and fight
Or at least together we'll call it a night.

Stop! The Iraq war and the occupation are an expression of the freedom loving peoples of the world. We have the good will and express consent of the most populous, most politically important, most....
Oh, sorry. I forgot, it's just a PR spin job.

Iceland has an army? What's there to defend? Lava, sheep, and fish?
It really must be an "Army of One". And that guy is likely the one.

Why wouldn't Iceland have an army? It's all the rage!

If memory serves, Iceland and Britain fought a low-level "fish war" in the 70s. Don't mess!

Considering how small the economic stake is in fish, for most countries, it's amazing that our scaly friends are capable of starting so many "low-level" wars.

Re: Breaking News - Iceland pulling out of Iraq
Fishing is a significant part of the Icelandic economy so I wouldn't call it a small economic stake.
