Lost a big one!

I've been having trouble keeping F@H running. It seems like every couple of hours it receives a "Shutdown requested by user. Exiting.***** Got a SIGTERM signal (15)
[02:04:28] Killing all core threads". This happens when no one is using the computer! Does anyone know how this could happen?

Then today, while I was at work, F@H quit with the unit at 42%. This time the message was, " Completed 52500 out of 125000 steps  (42 percent)
[18:48:37] Timered checkpoint triggered.
[18:59:43] CoreStatus = 1 (1)
[18:59:43] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0x1
[18:59:43] Deleting current work unit & continuing...
[19:04:15] - Warning: Could not delete all work unit files (0): Core returned invalid code"

?? Any ideas? cry

I just hate losing units I've spent so much time on.

Re: Lost a big one!

Possible cork of action:

If your FAH log.txt file  shows the same protein is now in progress, you mgith consider deleting the entire Folding folder in the Library and re-installing.

Re: Lost a big one!

I never got a conclusive answer to that question when I asked at the folding forum:

Since you have the Warning: Could not delete all work unit files, I would quit f@h, delete all contents of the work directory, then restart f@h.
