Are we getting better ads?
I just noticed an ad for Dexter, which is funny because i just got the first dvd of the first season in the mail today. I don't recall ever seeing an entertainment type ad on here.

I think we got a couple of those "national lampoon" ads here once, if you call that entertainment.[/obvious joke]

Saw a great one a few weeks back for um, "plus sized" women's lingerie. At least it's not the same freakin' Wacom ad for 5 months at a time.

Seeing the Oreck vacuum ads one the right yesterday was a bit odd.

That was my first thought! It was refreshing to see different types of ads.
I see the Oreck one, now.

Ok the Dexter/Showtime ad is disturbing. WTF is on his face and that stupid smurf eating grin.

Dexter is a serial killer.
But remember: He's a *nice* serial killer. These are family forums, after all.

I don't care if vacuums or movies are advertised in the Forums but can't they draw the line at Sony Vaio laptops? Geez! How, in any sane universe, can they justify that? They do understand this is a 'Mac' Forum for a 'Mac' magazine right? Right?
