Good time waster.  I remember someone posting it a while ago and I watched more ads in a row than probably is healthy or normal.  Oh well, I was killing time in my dorm and avoiding studying.

I was gonna try and get some work done. Now I have to go through all this stuff, Thanks to you!

Based on the findings of the report, my conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent for reasons which at this moment must be all too obvious.

Re: Remember the old Mac ads? here they are

These are great.  Some I had never seen before...I sure as hell would have bought a Mac based on these commercials. big_smile

Does anybody remember the infomercial/promotional video (no, not "The Martinetti's Bring Home a Computer", that's on the page upthread)...it starts off with news footage of a flood in SE Asia, then a phone conference where a guy is saying the factory's flooded out for six months.  So the executives send an email out to prospective suppliers...

One of which is washing her car in a suburban driveway.  Her pager informs her she has an email, so she hands the hose to her kids and checks her Power Mac.  Sometime later, she gets her colleagues in on a video conference to finalize the presentation that they are going to pitch to the executives in Scene 1.

I remember thinking this was really well-made for the time (mid-90s).  Anybody else remember and possibly point me towards some footage...?
