I hope they use Lynx, what a cool cat that one is. But I seriously think that Apple should look into that.
Then people could plunk down thousands for their new computer, turn it on and get nothing but a text-based web browser. Sweet!

Haha, you know that people would still buy it even if they knew it was a txt based web browser, just like 5 million people would buy the PS3 even if it didnt have any games for it(sourse x-play)

Re: Time Machine
While I like the concept of Time Machine - I wish it was more customizable. Settings to choose when and how to backup which files. I previously used SuperDuper to make a bootable backup on my Firelite drive.
I thought... TimeMachine-I won't have to go through the work of making my backups now. (usually done either before I decide to get froggy and try to tweak my mac or about once a month to save new freeware things). I also save all downloaded installers that I try and like to a network drive. I do all of this manually and have no problem with it since it only takes minutes.
more detail that isn't really super important but here anyway
I do not have anything on my system at this time that causes me to NEED half hour increment backups... but they have not (yet) integrated that level of customization. [do a full backup now, and then every set amount of time do a mini one of changed settings w/ user folder changed content (My mac is smart enough to be able to tell me you are trying to write over a newer file with an older filewith the same name, are you sure you want to do this?, so I think that being able to further customize the options would be fantastic.

Congrats on doing the search, though.
