Mighty Mouse Issues
I have a Mighty Mouse, a new apple wireless keyboard, and a macbook pro. I will often do some work on the computer, and wander off, to come back later and finish what I've started.
Lately, when I come back to my computer, it's as if the mouse is on a low "frame rate", if you will. The mouse moves in very discrete intervals, which makes it difficult to do anything really. A move of the mouse can show the pointer at one end of the screen at one instant, and the other end, without any "flow" (movement from point a to point b in the meantime). To fix this problem, I have to turn off the mouse, and then reconnect to it from the bluetooth setup assistant.
I have tried changing the batteries, hitting the mouse against something solid (gently, so as not to damage anything, but fix something if it were loose).
If there's any way to fix this that you know of, I'd grateful for your help.

It happens to me occasionally, I usually just slide the laser cover up and down. It goes back to normal.

This is almost always a sign of RF interference and it's one of the reasons cords are still a good thing to use from time to time 
I forget whether or not the MM has a reset button, I got rid of that thing after being unable to tolerate. If it does, try that. If not, look around for devices that might be causing RF interference.
