So... Anyone know if it is possible to get Glider Pro 10?

Pretty hard without the source.

And UB?  Why?  That game ran great on my 16 MHz Color Classic, and runs just as great in Rosetta.

besides, there is a windows version, just run that on parallels or bootcamp. or just download the friggin' OS X version.

The Windows version is version 4
the Mac OS X version is 9.

Quick correction: There is no Glider PRO 9.  Glider PRO doesn't have a version number (but it is newer than Glider 4.0).

Anyway, what upgrades would you like to see?  It already runs at full-speed on Intel, so UB isn't a big deal.  What else did you have in mind?  An OS X house editor?

This would be awesome, but until it happens, he suggests to use the classic version of the editor and import the houses from there.

yes. it says version 0.1 on it.
however, it is a PORT of 9.

I mean that the product name does not contain a version number, and it's not a port of "9" either.  However, there is a version of Glider PRO that runs on Mac OS 9, so I assume that's where you got the 9 from (It's no biggie though.  I'm just correcting a typo wink )...

As far as upgrading, yeah it would be cool if they added stuff like better graphics, etc...

You know, With CoreAnimation in Leopard, It would actually be quite possible to overhaul Glider as a really nice modern game.
If no one else is going to try it, I will (after I start my C programming classes).

I just got in trouble for downloading and running Glider on my work computer.. thanks future wink

Reguardless i remember playing this game back on my powerbook 180. Still fun to this day.

So.. my girlfriend and i were pretty bored at the families house yesterday so i bust out the 3400 and we started seeing who could get the highest score. On slumberland she ended up getting 80k! What are your glider high scores? If anyone still plays that is.

A little history:
As I recall the reason Glider became Glider "pro" was because it had become kind of an "in joke" amongst Mac devs to append the pro suffix to apps that were totally not pro stuff to mock the way many developers were over using the appendage.
For the same reason: OkieDokie Pro.
