Stranger on my home network?

Ever since I installed Leopard I've been paying a little more attention to what is and is not on my home network. Lately I've been noticing what seems to be a strange uninvited PC (aptly named "Xenos") that seems to pop on for a little bit.

I have an older snow base station, which is password protected and locked to a handful of MAC addresses. Is it possible to hop on my WiFi network even though the router is locked to several MAC addresses?

Re: Stranger on my home network?

does it have a MAC address that is known to you? Change your password.

Your title sounds like a new trend in bad 21st century horror movies.

The advice I've been given is to make sure you are using WPA security and hide the SSID from your neighbours.

I had to gouge my eyes out halfway into that movie, so thanks for regurgitating that memory.
