Ignore only an Avatar ??
i would like to ignore some ones avatar but i dont whant to turn them off, and i still whant to view there post. can you do that ??

Under display preferences, you can turn off all of the avatars. You can't pick and choose though.
The storm starts when the drops start dropping. When the drops stop dropping, the storm starts stopping.

Oh, and just tolerate the avatar. How bad can it really be?
Actually, one avatar comes to mind i'm sure most people have seen. Since he doesn't post much in Unplugged, it isn't really a problem for me, but that avatar is the sole reason that could prompt me to use the ignore feature. It flashes brightly and is extremely annoying. I haven't heard of anyone that has said they like it, but everyone i know that has seen it has complained to the guy, and he ignores their complaints.

This would be really simple to do in OmniWeb; just add the URL of the avatar to your content block list. It's probably just as easy in PithHelmet, which blocks content in Safari.
In either case you're looking at two steps (get the URL, add it to the list).

It's not what it sounds like. It's actually that of a new guy who dropped in one day and drew attention to himself by starting a flame war. I don't remember the specifics. I was on the sidelines. Someone made a comment about the "dog or pig" he was holding, and him being topless, and it made me laugh. That is the only reason I knew what NoExit was referring to. Here he is.
