Someone who was 18 in 1945 would be 80 now. That percentage of the German population would be the largest number of people who remotely had something to do with the Nazis.

That makes perfect, logical, rational sense.

But it's not easy to draw such fine distinctions when one's people were slaughtered.

Let me be clear, I'm not justifying "hatred" or anything of the sort. I'm simply saying that the dislike and unease some Jews feel for Germans is entirely understandable.

Have fun trying to convince me otherwise.

I love Christians for inspiring some of my favorite horror movies.

Christians came to my country, raped, tortured and killed my ancestors, established a a colony and exploited us for more than 300 years - all in the name of Jesus Christ.

Oh, but you may say, "how come most of you guys do not have a problem with christians nowadays, as a matter of fact, most of you converted to christianity" - converted? willingly? no no, it is an easy choice when you have to pick between the sword and the bible.

So, not only did christians physically exploited us, but they also fed us this Jesus bullsmurf to keep us on our knees and under their control. What better tool for control than having the colonized worship the god of the colonizer?

This history of both psychological and physical abuse is enough for me to dislike christians.

So, if you question my dislike for religion, I would like to remind you that you are being culturally insensitive and fit the profile of someone that would commit a hate crime.

Okay, but there's no reason not to have a dedicated period of the year for spending time with friends and family.

I'm jewish and I celebrate a secular christmas.

Ignore them dear.  I feel the same way about Republicans for committing genocide in the 80's against homosexuals.
